CD storage dilemna

Bedroom redecorating has spilled into living room redecorating and the first thing I zeroed in on to declutter was my CD collection. Call me old school, but I like having a hard copy of my music. However, all those cases can be a pain to store, especially if you're living in a small space (like me). My CDs have lived on a bookshelf, but it's not a terribly attractive sight. However, I think this white framed CD shelf from Heal's is the perfect solution to both free up some prized shelf space and display my CDs in an appealing way.

I've always liked the look of mixing old with new and this ornate frame with the modern shelving is right up my alley. Also, the black and white contrast makes for a nice visual pop (particularly if you decide to use the shelves to display colorful dishware as is done here.) Unfortunately, I think the price is a little steep for my budget, but I might attempt a DIY project. I just need a basic storage unit and a thrift store frame. Stay tuned, we'll see what happens!

What a beautiful place to curl up

This floral quilt set is absolutely breathtaking!

I am in the process of remodeling my tiny bedroom and part of the battle has been deciding on a color scheme. I've waffled between aqua and purple, but this quilt has them both! I can switch up the sheets to refresh the look of my room. I'm in love!

Create book shelves out of...books!

Such an adorable idea! I love the look of old, vintage books and this is a fantastic way to showcase them. How to over at Real Simple.
